In the study of what constitutes the “uniqueness” of Muar culturally, it lies in embracing the shared identity, tradition and heritage as an embodiment to the Muarian’s way of life. Despite its authenticity, these elements often coincide with the new culture of innovation, pushing its legacy to an impasse. After all, is innovation really about creation or relevance?
